A Time For Love
By Khris Andrews
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5)
It’s official, I’ve been sucked into the romance world… and honestly, I’m not mad about it.
This book was so good. I wasn’t sure going in if it would be my thing, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I really loved Andrews’ writing style. The characters felt both likable and relatable, which is huge for me. I hate when I can’t find myself rooting for anyone, but that definitely wasn’t the case here. I was fully invested in both Jackie and Adam and understood where each of them was coming from.
I will say, I skimmed the spicy scenes. It’s just not my thing … I get secondhand awkwardness reading them (especially while sitting on a tour bus full of strangers on the way to the Cliffs of Moher) 😅 Maybe it’ll be more my thing in the privacy of my own home 🤷♀️
The ending was exactly what I wanted. I love a nice, clean wrap-up, and I was excited to find out that Eliza and Carter’s story is featured in the previous Silver Lake Falls book. Adding that to my TBR for sure.
