Tourist Season
by Brynne Weaver
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5)

I am so relieved this is a trilogy because I have questions … and I need answers. Give me full backstories on EVERYONE, not just the main characters. The crumbs weren’t enough.

This book is completely chaotic in the best way possible. There are multiple serial killers, a soapbox derby (yes, a soapbox derby), romance, a murder bird, and somehow it all works.

It’s unhinged. It’s entertaining. I was locked in.

I’ll be honest – I definitely sped through some of the more graphic sex scenes, but even then, I could not put this down.

The characters? I’m obsessed. Or maybe concerned. Or both.

Nolan … sir, what exactly are we doing here? Is this love, obsession, or something way more complicated? And that book of yours?? I need answers.

Harper… are we talking vigilante justice born from trauma, or are you actively hunting? Because those are two very different lanes.

And together? Grumpy x grumpy perfection. It felt so natural and normal … if you ignore the whole serial killer situation.

And the AUDIO?! Absolute perfection. Samantha Brentmoor and Robert Hatchet brought Harper and Nolan to life in a way that made this impossible to pause.

One final thought: Woodchipper. 😳

I listened to this one, but I’ll 100% be buying the full trilogy.
