A Witch’s Dissent

A Witch’s Dissent
By Sabrina Marley

Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this story.

Things really pick up in the second half of this story and I found myself really invested in Eliza and Isabel’s relationship and wanting to see how everything would unfold – both with them and with Roan.

There’s definitely a lot of tension throughout the story, both emotionally and romantically. The spicy scenes are mostly in the back half of the book and are open-door, but not like over the top open-door. While I tend to read more closed-door, I know many other readers that will enjoy this aspect.

The 90s nostalgia was honestly one of my favorite parts of this book. The music references were especially fun and anytime Alanis Morissette gets mentioned, or even the Cranberries, I’m immediately interested. And Cake was a huge part of every burned CD I made for myself. I graduated in ’99… yes, I’m that old.
