What a delight to be back at the Sugar Shack! This installment reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this series!

After Book 9 fell a little flat for me, I was thrilled that “Whipped Cream and Werewolves” brought back all the cozy, witchy, mysterious goodness I’ve come to expect from Danielle Garrett. And WEREWOLVES?! Apparently, the magical communities have been keeping even more secrets than we realized!

I really enjoyed the addition of Dawn, I’m rooting for Sam to find love, and I absolutely adore that Ghost is becoming a bigger part of the story. My one lingering curiosity is Grandma Rose’s latest invention. Was it just there to give us a few laughs, or is Garrett planting the seeds for something bigger? I guess we’ll see!

Kelsey Navarro Foster really seems to have found her footing narrating this established series. Her performance felt much more natural this time around, and I think she’ll quickly win over longtime listeners. I’m excited to hear her continue bringing these beloved characters to life!
