Another fun, festive cozy mystery from Tonya Kappes! I really enjoyed spending more time with Mae West and the gang, especially with a Thanksgiving murder thrown into the mix. I absolutely loved how REAL Mae was about running and getting in shape for her wedding. Her struggles were so relatable, and I appreciated that she wasn’t suddenly some superstar athlete just because she signed up for a Turkey Trot! As always, Johanna Parker’s narration was fantastic. She brings these quirky characters and their Southern charm to life, making every visit feel like catching up with old friends.
