Cute story, frustrating communication, fantastic narration. “The Christmas Yes List” had such a fun concept, and I loved the absolute nonsense Chloe requested from the people around her while secretly hoping they would all tell her “no.” And James? TOTAL green flag. This man was pulling out all the stops for her while Chloe was busy assuming the worst and, quite frankly, acting a fool. 😂

My favorite scene was Chloe’s conversation with her dad about the time her mom broke their engagement. It was such a beautiful little glimpse into her parents’ love and easily one of the most heartfelt moments of the book. Karissa Vacker’s narration was fantastic and brought so much personality to the story. Overall, this was cute, festive, and made for the screen. I’m looking forward to seeing the movie!
