A sweet second-chance romance with an amnesia twist, a lovable cast, and a hero determined to make her fall in love with him all over again.

I went into “Once, Again, Always” reviewing it as a standalone romance rather than through the lens of its fan-fiction origins, because honestly, very little of that came through for me. Instead, this felt like enemies-to-lovers meets second-chance romance with an amnesia twist—and I really enjoyed it. Molly has stroke-induced amnesia, and Aster is determined to either help her remember their life together or make her fall in love with him all over again. While it sounds like younger Aster was a complete A-hole, the man he is now absolutely adores Molly. As their history unfolds, we see how they fell in love, what he gave up to be with her, and how beautifully their lives became intertwined.

The entire cast shined. Molly and Aster were wonderful, but the side characters were equally lovable—the kind of people you immediately want in your own friend group. Will Damron and Lauren Fortgang were also a great pairing for the audiobook, giving Molly and Aster distinct voices while capturing both the humor and emotion of their relationship.
