Too Cold for Comfort

Some love stories are worth fighting for, even when one person makes you want to scream at your book!

“Too Cold for Comfort” was such a beautiful story of two reluctant people developing feelings and finding their way to each other. And Reid? That man may be one of the most beautiful MMCs ever written. A total green flag! Sure, he started off a little grumpy, but the way he opened his heart to Aadya and everything he was willing to give up for her? SWOON.

Aadya, on the other hand, had me wanting to strangle her on occasion. Not because she was choosing herself or prioritizing her career (we love a woman who knows what she wants!), but because she kept dangling the possibility of something more in front of Reid without fully committing. Girl, either love that man or let him go!

Thankfully, Reid trusted his feelings and went for what he wanted, because I needed these two to find their HEA.

There were moments when the story felt a little longer than necessary, but I appreciated the exploration of Aadya’s family dynamics. While they didn’t necessarily create major obstacles for the romance, they highlighted just how different Reid was from her ex. The supporting characters were also a lovely addition, and I really enjoyed the setting.

Shiromi Arserio’s narration was superb! She brought the characters and their emotions to life beautifully, making it easy to get swept up in their story. Her performance was a wonderful complement to this heartfelt romance.
