Creepy, unsettling, and wonderfully atmospheric, “The Lantern Keepers” delivers a little something for every horror lover! Each story brings its own unique brand of darkness, from slow-building dread to downright disturbing moments. I loved the variety and recommend reading one story each night for two weeks to really let each one sink in!

A few standouts for me were “Sweater Weather” by Abby I. Draper, “The Lighthouse” by Orson Clement, “Lavinia” by Tori Newton, “5-4-3-2-1” by Holly Sadowski, and “Beef” by MJE Clubb. Of course, I’m leaving out the story I contributed because I might be just a little biased. 😉

Even better, this anthology benefits the ASPCA, making it a great read for a great cause! Just be sure to check those trigger warnings, as some stories contain sexual assault content and other potentially uncomfortable themes.
