I actually really liked this one. It was short, suspenseful, and kept me engaged from start to finish.

Three couples find themselves stranded in the woods, trying to make their way to a cabin with nothing but a sketchy map, a compass that doesn’t work, and no cell service. One by one, people start dying or disappearing. Are they being hunted by an animal? Is someone in the group responsible? And most importantly… who can you trust?

I will say I guessed the killer immediately and stuck with my theory the entire time. But with Freida McFadden, you never really know. She always has something up her sleeve that makes you question everything.

The ending is definitely the highlight of the book. Twist after twist keeps coming, forcing you to reevaluate characters and motives right up until the final pages. Even though I saw the main reveal coming, I still had a great time with the ride.
