It’s rare that I finish an e-book in just two days, but I simply couldn’t put this one down. I even endured Kindle’s text-to-speech while assembling furniture so I could keep going. That’s commitment… have you ever listened to Kindle audio?!? 😂 IYKYK.

This was such a unique story and gave me major Freida McFadden vibes with the sheer number of twists. And I mean numerous twists.

I especially loved the first half of the book, centered around the lake house and Lilly’s past. The author revealed just enough information at a time to keep me guessing while slowly piecing everything together.

Then, just when you think the story has reached its conclusion… BAM! Another twist. And then another layer to rethink.

If you love dual timelines, psychological thrillers, and books that constantly make you question what you think you know, I’d definitely recommend adding this one to your TBR.
