This book is possibly my favorite Freida book to date. It felt very different than many of her others and I appreciated the dual timeline versus the dual perspective – it really allowed me to understand Nora’s character.

Nora is the daughter of a serial unaliver who went to prison for his crimes when he was a child. Now she is a respected surgeon who has changed her name so that no one would know who her father is.

That is until a copycat begins to frame Nora using the same calling card as her dad.

Who can Nora trust? And can we trust Nora?

The story didn’t feel wildly over the top or have so many twists it got frustrating. This may be my recommendation moving forward when people ask me to recommend a Freida book.
