What exactly is a scotcheroo?

This book was really good! Twins return to Midas, the town they were born in, after a grandmother they don’t remember ever meeting passes away and leaves them her yarn shop. Only to discover (Gasp!) Lexi is a harbinger and may just be the downfall of the town… or its savior.

The one thing I didn’t quite understand was what the town got out of the deal with the demons – was there something really bad happening? And, there was an abundance of abandoned children. I need more details here!

I was a little nervous that the romance was going to feel forced, but the development of Jack and Lexi felt natural and, despite Jack’s rough entrance, he shows us exactly what a decent dude is.

Since this is the first in the series, I’m imagining that Logan and Nora get some loving in the next book. I’m definitely looking forward to the next installment.

But, most importantly, after googling scotcheroos, I realized I am familiar with them, and they are delicious. Jack… please return them to the menu.
