The amount of legitimate gaslighting in this book nearly spiraled me out of control.

Poor Joanne. She thinks she has it all, and maybe she does, until an unexpected guest arrives: her husband’s daughter from a previous marriage.

Suddenly, the past starts resurfacing, Joanne begins questioning everything, and you’re left wondering who actually knows the truth. Just maybe, the last person you think to ask has the answers… but by then, it might already be too late.

This one had me frustrated, suspicious, and desperately wanting to shake some sense into people. 😂

Wonderful narration by Penelope Rawlins, who did such a great job bringing the tension and uncertainty to life. She’s definitely a narrator I’ll be on the lookout for again.
