Corinne Price wants her readers to hate her. I’m convinced.
This is why:
This HEA-loving gal was once again given an incredible book only to be rewarded with a frustrating cliffhanger. WHEN DOES BOOK 3 COME OUT?! Because after that ending, I have questions, concerns, and some serious feelings. And Chapters 36 & 37… 🔥🔥🔥
I left “Wrought in Flesh” with a LOT of opinions about certain characters, and I loved that “Etched in Ink” gave me a few redemption arcs… at least in my eyes. I don’t know why Verena pissed me off so much previously, but here I really wanted her on my side. And Raekin… why am I falling in love with him?! That CANNOT be healthy, right?
That said, I’m still firmly #TeamSybil. She’s a hot mess, but she has a good head on her shoulders and a genuinely kind heart. And Killian. ❤️
It’s difficult to say much more without getting into spoiler territory, but that final chapter has to be one of the most devastating I’ve read in a long time. I was already completely invested, and then Corinne Price decided to emotionally destroy me on the way out.
