“Stranded Ranch” was such a sweet winter read! I loved the cute, flirty banter between Lucy and Dusty, the closed-door romance, and the genuinely likable cast of characters.
I found myself really connecting with Lucy. Her anxiety, constant second-guessing, and tendency to self-sabotage felt incredibly relatable, even when I wanted to shake her a little. And Dusty? Total book boyfriend material. He was patient, thoughtful, and so incredibly sweet with her.
Grandma was an obvious standout for me. I loved watching her not-so-subtly push Lucy and Dusty together, and she added so much warmth and personality to the story.
Justis Bolding did an incredible job bringing these characters to life. Her performance captured Lucy’s uncertainty and Dusty’s sweetness while giving the supporting cast plenty of personality, too. The narration really complemented the cozy, romantic feel of the story.
Overall, this was a charming winter romance, and I’ll definitely be checking out more of the series, especially now that I know they’re all available on audio!
