Drop Dead Sisters

Drop Dead Sisters
by Amelia Diane Coombs
⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really, like really, really enjoyed this audiobook 🎧

The family dynamics are what pulled me in. It felt way too relatable, on many levels (minus the dead body). And yes … I’m the Remy. The anxious one, the one who struggles with family gatherings, the one who never quite feels like she measures up. Hi, it’s me 🙋‍♀️

I’ve seen some reviews that hated her, and honestly … I took that a little personally 😅

The story itself is pure chaos, but in the best way. There are so many hands in the murder-adjacent pot at any given time 🔪 . The story is convoluted and takes you no less than 100 different directions. I had multiple laugh-out-loud moments and already have a list of quotes I need to share.

I also appreciated the subtle (and not-so-subtle) lean into political territory —especially around womanhood and how complicated it can be navigating men like Guy 🙄

What I loved most: things aren’t magically “fixed” by the end. The Finch sisters aren’t suddenly perfect, but they’re moving toward something more real, and that felt honest.

And at the core of it all? This family would do anything for each other ❤️

Now I need answers in the next books:
Is Leo really as genuine as he seems? 🤨
Will Chad (the absolute worst 😒) make a comeback to destroy Eliana?
And Maeve … no way her life is that perfect. Something’s coming. I sort of hope there is a book that centers around her.
