First Witches Club

First Witches Club
By Maisey Yates
Narrated by Ava Lucas
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I haven’t loved a book this much in a while. I was maybe three chapters in when I had a strong feeling this was going to be a 5-star read.

Each of the women felt so distinct and real, but somehow I still found pieces of myself in all of them. And while I’ve never experienced a cheating spouse, Maisey Yates made me feel every ounce of their heartbreak, rage, loneliness, and desire for revenge. What hit me hardest was the isolation they all carried. Feeling unseen, unsupported, and disconnected from true friendship, community, and sisterhood.

The story itself was emotional, empowering, funny, and honestly just so satisfying. I absolutely adored Aggie and the way she helped these women rediscover their strength, confidence, and yes… their magic. ✨

Obviously, there are parallels to The First Wives Club, but the witchy spin made this feel fresh, cozy, empowering, and oddly relatable even with the magic woven throughout. And honestly? Multiple HEAs will always win me over. 💜

I’ve already recommended this book to basically everyone I’ve talked to since finishing it yesterday. 🖤

For the narration: Ava Lucas completely embodied every single character in this audiobook. Each woman had her own distinct personality, emotional depth, and voice, making it incredibly easy to connect with all of them individually. She balanced the humor, heartbreak, anger, vulnerability, and empowerment so naturally that the story felt immersive from start to finish. Her performance added so much life and emotion to an already fantastic book.
