I was not expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did, but it pulled me in from start to finish. I was trying to figure out who was what – liar, fraud, cheat, etc. the entire story. And it definitely had a twist that surprised me more than most.

I would have loved to have seen a few more chaotic events unfold at the vacation home – something more intense than missing luggage and the private chef not showing up. I sort of wanted more to happen in the middle of the book instead of everything at the end, just to build up some suspense.

The narration was great – I love a full cast recording and these VO actors did not disappoint.

I’m definitely interested in reading more from D.L. Fisher.
