I truly enjoyed this book from start to finish – so many books these days try to do too much and this book was both complex and simple at the same time.
The entire mystery unfolds in a matter of days and while it certainly takes some turns you wouldn’t expect, Eliza goes about it very smartly. She involves the police, takes precautions, and most of all – does everything she can to make sure Piper is safe.
This book really leans into preconceived notions and how, no matter how well we think we know someone, there are always secrets to be discovered.
Narration was great – no notes 😉
Definitely a book I will recommend and an author I want to hear more from.
